In order to develop and expand traditional Chinese culture, to inspire students to learn and chant Chinese poetry, and to increase students’ interests in traditional Chinese culture, First Ancient Poetry Contest was held on Sep 28.

Director of the academic office, Ren Dong, director of teaching research, Zhang Kangjun, head of 10th grade Ma Qiongli, head of Chinese department, Zhang Yanping and other Chinese teachers in 10th grade participated in the contest. 18 contestants stood out after several rounds of selection and have come to the final round. The students from Class 1 and 3 won the first prize.

This contest excited the students to explore more out of the traditional Chinese culture, and enriched their spiritual world and increased their confidence.
