On the morning of June 28, 2019, the graduation ceremony of Class 2018 of the XJTU Youth Class was solemnly held in the multi-function hall. Zheng Qinghua, Vice President of Xi'an Jiaotong University, Yang Sen, Vice President of Qian Xuesen College of Xi'an Jiaotong University, Wang Juan, Secretary of the Party Committee of Basic Education of Xi'an Jiaotong University, and Madame Wang Peidong, President of HSXJTU, attended the ceremony and watched the performances.
The graduation ceremony officially began in the Grand National anthem. Principal Wang Peidong delivered an enthusiastic speech. She warmly congratulated the students of the Youth class who were about to leave high school and embark on a new journey of life. She fully affirmed the achievements of the students in the past year and expressed her appreciation and expectations.
In their heartfelt speeches, students' representative Guo Yinwen, parents' representative Ms. Chen Wenjie and head teacher Zhang Yan reviewed from different perspectives an extraordinary and beautiful journey that the family of the Youth Class had gone through piece by piece. They also reviewed the stories of students from strangeness to familiarity, finding like-minded partners and growing up slowly. The precipitation of youth memory has become the atmosphere of class songs, become two collections of "Youth Travel", and become something that can be grasped in the flowing memory.
More than 30 senior students of the Youth class also came to the meeting to witness the growth of the students of Class 2018. Among them, Fei Lihan, the winner of the gold medal of the 2017 chemistry contest, spoke on behalf of outstanding alumni. First, he thanked HSXJTU for its training. Then, he focused on his own experience and told his students and sisters that once they entered the university, they should get more information and increase more.
Finally, Vice-President Zheng Qinghua of Xi'an Jiaotong University made a thought-provoking and inspiring speech. First of all, he fully affirmed the efforts and achievements made by HSXTU in the work of training these students in recent years, and encouraged students to continue to strive hard in their future learning career.
