On June 9, 2019, the annual "Star of Hope" English Talent Festival hosted by the High School Students Channel ended perfectly in Beijing Jiuhua Mountain Villa. More than 1500 excellent athletes from all over the country competed on the same stage. Six students from our school including Bai Haoqing, Wang Shiyi, achieved good results under the guidance of Teachers Niu Guofang and Chen Hongzhong.

Bai Haoqing was awarded the first prize (top 20 nationwide), Wang Shiyi was awarded the second prize (top 50 nationwide), Liu Yang, Hou Ruixin, Zhang Mengtang and Huang Xinya were awarded the third prize. Zhang Mengtang sang the episode of the animated film "Lion King" on behalf of Shaanxi Branch at the closing ceremony. The song was praised by the judges and the audience for its perfect timbre and solid singing performance.

This Festival is the largest English-related event in the past years, with the largest number of students and the highest professional level.
