Invited by Hwa Chong Institution, the delegation of 52 students and 4 teachers from our school arrived in Singapore on 20th, January 2017, for their 4 weeks visit.

Singapore is known as Garden City which is full of modern flavor and charm. Hwa Chong Institution is the most outstanding Chinese secondary school in Singapore.

The Chinese New Year celebrations was the first event after HSXJTU delegation arrived at Hwa Chong. Under our teachers’ organizing, the Kung Fu show performed by our students was highly appraised as the best performance of Chinese students they had ever seen. After celebration, our students started to learn academic courses with their Hwa Chong partners. In addition to studying, Hwa Chong organized tours to Science and Technology Museum, Malay Cultural Village and etc., which helps our students get to know about the culture and customs of Singapore.

The completion ceremony for HSXJTU delegation was held on 13th, February 2017, our students shared their gains during this visit. Finally, Hwa Chong Vice-principal Ms. Yang awarded every student of HSXJTU delegation a completion certificate and announced that this student exchange achieved a complete success.
