April 1, 2011, 4:30 pm in the training office, a farewell party was held to celebrate the completion of the first SFU practicum at HSXJTU. Principal Wang, vice Principal Liu, Ms. Catherine Johnson and all Canadian student teachers along with their tutors took participation.

The farewell started with Principal Wang’s speech expressing a gratitude to SFU for the tremendous contribution to benefiting HSXJTU students and faculty and also enriching our community in the most wonderful way. Following Principal Wang, vice Principal Liu made a conclusion about this practicum and delivered comments on each student teacher which were written by their tutors and spoke well for their performance in the past one month.

Then Ms. Catherine Johnson extended her gratitude to HSXJTU and also expressed a sincere wish for further cooperation between two parts. Each of the Canadian student teacher stepped forward and shared with all their experience and wonderful moments. Everyone is saying goodbye with reluctance.

The final part of this farewell was the exchange of presents and a group picture was also taken at the end.
