April 6, the guests participated the 4th International Forum of Leading Schools visited the campus of the High School Affiliated to Xi’an Jiaotong University, and planted the trees symbolizing the friendship.
8:30 a.m., over 20 foreign guests arrived at the Qujiang Campus of the High School Affiliated to Xi’an Jiaotong University, and they were warmly welcomed by the faculty and students.
In front of the main building, guests watched the show performed by school students and teachers, including dancing of Tang Dynasty style, chorus of foreign songs, and Chinese Kongfu, and Chinese drum performance, etc., and guests enjoyed the show and gave big applause to the performers. On the playground, students remote controlled the model aircrafts in variety of fancy ways. Guests were especially surprised when two greeting gifts with model aircrafts slowly landed before them.
In the garden behind the building of library and arts, foreign guests planted and watered pine trees symbolizing friendship with great enthusiasm. Then guests visited school labs of physics and chemistry, exploring lab, and simulation driving lab.
10:30 a.m. another group of guests of over 200 principals of standard high schools of Shaanxi Province arrived at Qujiang campus after they finished the reports lectured by Tony Little, head of Eton college, UK and Stephen Murray, Head of University School, US from the 4th International Forum of Leading Schools. These principals also visited the school labs, the model aircrafts and robot show. The achievement in scientific exploration and creation of school deeply and the student creation impressed guests again.
