Form November 10-12, 2009, Dr. John Kennard, Principal of St. Paul’s College (SPC), HK and two of his colleagues, Ngan- Ka King, Head of Chinese Hitong Department, and Chan Yishan, Chinese teacher visited The High School Affiliated to Xi’an Jiaotong University. Principal Wang Peidong met the delegation and delivered a warm welcome speech to the guests from HK. Two principals also had a very fruitful discussion after and achieved several exchange programs in detail. Both Dr. John Kennard and Mrs. Wang expressed their confidence and optimistic perspective with the cooperation and exchange of St. Paul’s College, HK and The High School Affiliated to Xi’an Jiaotong University. The SPC delegation also took a campus tour.

Established in 1851, St. Paul’s College is the oldest secondary school in Hong Kong, and it is also the world's first Anglo-Chinese school. Thanks to its long history and the excellent education ideas, SPC has seen many Notable alumni, including Ieoh Ming Pei, a Pritzker Prize winning and internationally renowned architect whose important works include theLouvrePyramid ofParis, and Joseph Yam Chi-kwong, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, etc.
