Invited by Principal Wang Peidong, the delegation from University School, which locates in Ohio, America, visited our school on 28, March, 2007. They visited our school campus, watched the performances of our students and had a discussion with the teachers from our school. Mr. Lv Mingkai, the deputy director-general of Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education, said that this kind of exchange activities could enhance the mutual understanding between American and Chinese foundation education and played a very important role in the development process of The Sub High School Affiliated to Xi’an Jiaotong University, even the foundation education of Shaanxi province. Mr. Xi Youmin, the vice president of Xi’an Jiaotong University, pointed out that the big differences exist between the two countries’ foundation education and how to cultivate the creative talented people would be the common topic which the two countries both faced, so such kind of exchange was a pretty meaningful thing.
