In the 34th Shaanxi Youth Science and Technology Innovation Competition held on March 29 2019, Zhang Xinyi's work "Adding Photovoltaic Compound Power Supply with Extinguishing Continuous Energy to Fuel Vehicles" won the first prize in engineering projects in the province, and will represent Shaanxi Province for further competitions in Macao on July 20, 2019.

The Science and Technology Innovation Competition is co-sponsored by Shaanxi Association of Science and Technology, Shaanxi Education Department, Shaanxi Science and Technology Department, Shaanxi Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League and Shaanxi Intellectual Property Bureau. More than 800 students and science and technology teachers participated in the competition and 983 items were declared. The theme of the competition is "Innovation, Experience and Growth", which covers chemistry, physics, astronomy, engineering, mathematics, botany, computer science, environmental science, behavioral social sciences and other disciplines.

It is learned that there are 8 works in Shaanxi Province selected in the national competition. Zhang Xinyi's works won the first place in engineering projects in the 34th Xi'an Youth Science and Technology Innovation Competition held in January 2019. Under the care and guidance of Principal Madame Wang, with the support and assistance of all levels of the school departments, under the careful guidance of Ms. Zhang Xin and Mr. Wang Bo, after more than a year of creative innovation, elaboration and repeated revision, Zhang Xinyi's works have stood out from the selection of Beilin District, Xi'an City and Shaanxi Province.
