On December 17th , a 6-person delegation from Tsinghua University have arrived to the High School Affiliated To Xi’an Jiaotong University. Mr. Ma hao, head of the Shaanxi admission office, on behalf of Tsinghua University, awarded our school a Medal of 2016 high-quality base school. it is reported that our school is the first to receive this honor in Shaanxi Province.

At the awarding ceremony, our principal MS. Wang peidong extended her welcome to the Tsinghua delegations and said it is not only an honor to become a high-quality base school of Tsinghua University, but also a responsibility, a driving force. In the future work, our school will contentiously improve both the qualities of the teachers and their teaching in order to cultivate more creative and outstanding talents for national top universities such as Tsinghua University.

Mr. Ma hao said students from the High School Affiliated To Xi’an Jiaotong University have a strong self-learning ability and development potential. Each of them achieved good results and did very well in Tsinghua University, especially Han Jiahao and Liu Yifeng who won the Tsinghua major award and minor award respectively. This owe to the High School Affiliated To Xi’an Jiaotong University making a comprehensive improvement of quality-oriented education and persisting in the educational innovation for years.

As one of the first Shaanxi demonstration senior high school, our school has cultivated and sent a large number of excellent students to many famous universities domestically and internationally. Our students’ outstanding performance wins honor for our school. In addition this year, our school was also awarded the medal of Tsinghua “New Hundred Year Plan“ high-quality base school in two consecutive years 2011~2012 and 2012~2013. In year 2014, our school was given the feeder school of Academy of Arts&design, Tsinghua University.
