November 19, morning, a national forum was launched in International Convention Centre of Qujiang Campus. This forum was sponsored by Headmaster Training Center of China’s Education Ministry, Shaanxi Education Department.

Over 400 participants were presented on this seminar, including senior officials from Shaanxi government and Xi’an Jiaotong University, experts from Headmaster’s Training Center, headmaster students and over Heads from 100 Xi’an high schools.

Mme. Wang made a speech titled ‘Empower each student to become his best self’ in which she focused on HSXJTU’s education ideal of ’pursuing of the most suitable education for each student’ and expounded suitable education, education philosophy and practice. A suitable education is based on students’ actual situation and looks forward to students’ lifelong growth. It is aimed to benefit each student in terms of academic study, future development and happiness by emphasizing individuality, building suitable relations among education factors like school, faculty, textbook and students and promoting students’ independent study and enquiry.

Following Mme. Wang’s speech, Dr. Zhu Guangyu, who graduated from HSXJTU in 1998 and is now a professor of Biochemistry in City University of Hong Kong, to deliver a speech as a representative of alumni. Mr. Jia Jianming, parent representative and Deputy Secretary of Xi’an Jiaotong University and Zhu Wenbo, student representative, also spoke afterwards.

Later Mr. Chen Yukun, Director of Headmaster’s Training Center, made comments on previous speeches.

Educator Forum – National Education Seminar for Elite High School Heads is aimed at bringing out Educator Headmasters. This Training was initiated in 2010 and seminars have been held successively in Beijing, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Jilin, Shanghai, Tianjing and etc.
