March 13, Professor Tadashi Tanaka on behalf of University of Tsukuba visited High School Affiliated to Xi’an Jiaotong University (HSXJTU) and conferred “Student Base of University of Tsukuba” on HSXJTU.

Upon the arrival of Professor Tanaka, the staff and students of our school extended their warm welcome to Professor Tanaka and his colleague. After the campus tour with the company of Principal Wang Peidong, Professor Tanaka spoke highly of High School Affiliated to Xi’an Jiaotong University and its achievements. He said that High School Affiliated to Xi’an Jiaotong University is an extremely outstanding school in China. Later, on behalf of the University of Tsukuba, Professor Tanaka conferred the board of “Student Base of University of Tsukuba” on HSXJTU. Ms. Liang Li, Head of the International Department of Xi’an Jiaotong University, and Ms. Liu Jun, Vice-Principal of HSXJTU presented the meeting and delivered a speech in the ceremony.

After the ceremony, Professor Yang Yingnan from University of Tsukuba delivered a lecture about the University to students from our school.
