May 22, three 11 graders, Zhao Huangjie, Qin Xueying and Zhu Jiahui, finally won 2012 Singapore SM2 Scholarship after a heated competition. There are 12 scholarship winners in total from Shaanxi Province.

SM2, standing for senior middle 2, is a scholarship program set by Singapore Education Ministry. Applicants must be excellent 11 graders at Provincial model high schools. They , once admitted, will take 12-month prep courses in Singapore before their 3-4 year college life in NTU or NUS. They can choose to study Science, Engineering, Computer, Marine Transportation and etc.
