On the afternoon of March 30th in the auditorium, doctors’ lectures on the Youth Science and Technology innovation began with a grand opening.

The meeting to popularize scientific knowledge is an important project of HSXJTU’s adolescents Science and technology invention activities as well as an important activity of the nineteenth "Spring Technology" publicity month organized by provincial and municipal associations for science and technology. The lecture was attended by Liu Guoqing, Director of International Exchange department of Shaanxi association for science and technology, Sun Xiaoqing, Vice-president of Xi’an association for science and technology, Li Gongzhi，deputy minister of Shaanxi province and some school leaders.

Director Liu Guoqing delivered a speech in which he said that technological innovation concerned social development and national progress, and determined the success or failure of the whole nation especially in the context of economic globalization, so the scientific popularizing activities for teenagers bear a significant mission. Song Jin’an, Vice President of HSXJTU introduced the science and technical achievements of our school and the efforts taken to cultivate students’ innovative spirits through the characteristic education.

He Lihuo and Zhang Kaibing, members of British engineering technology association, respectively gave students two brilliant science reports. In Dr. He Lihuo’s report on “exploration of the future city - stereo bus ", he started talking about the stereo bus, our country’s wisdom crystallization with the fully self-owned intellectual property with the introduction of urban traffic in China. The future development and application of three-dimensional bus, and this new type of low carbon urban transportation system attracted students’ great interest. Dr. Zhang Kaibing gave students a report entitled "Getting to know China - entering a new age of “Internet of Things”". “Internet of Things” is a kind of new technology that appears in human history after the four science and technology revolutions. Dr. Zhang also gave some detailed information on its composition, development, network application and responsibility. The convenient life brought by “Internet of Things” let students picture a brand-new life.

The doctors’ science reports made students realize that the new technology revolution is taking place without being noticed around them, and a spark of thought today may change the future of human being. The current information from the forefront of technological change inspires students to learn science, use science, and further change our future.
