April 14, 2011, a delegation from Marta Schanzenbach Germany, led by Principal Ernst and consisting of 42 students and 2 other teachers, arrived in HSXJTU. They stayed on campus for a week. Upon their arrival on campus at 9:30, a welcome ceremony was held in the auditorium on which Principal Wang extended a sincere welcome to the coming guests.

During the following week, German students lived in host families and joined a variety of classes and activities such as Kong Fu, Chinese and Music. Sunday allows for more activities organized by host families.

April 20th, 4’30 pm, a farewell ceremony was held in the auditorium on which students from both schools presented wonderful performances.

April 21st, 2’30 pm, the visiting group gathered at the school gate for goodbye. Students who have hosted German friends joined together in singing a farewell song following which they hugged, cried and said goodbye in the end. But everyone in deep heart was looking forward to the next meet in Germany.
