The 25th Sports Meet of HSXJTU (High School Section) was held on October 14. The sports meeting began with a grand March of Athletes, following the military boxing performance by from students of grade 10. All the participants were full of confidence and energy. They embodied the Olympic motto “Swifter, Higher, and Stronger”, braved the hardship in the competition, and performed excellent with fine sportsmanship. Seven student athletes broke the school records in the two-day competitions, among whom Xue Jiaxin, a grade-10 girl, broke 2 records respectively in 200m racing and the long jump.

A sport meeting is a time of hard-working and fierce competition, yet also a time for harvest. After the grand celebration of our 115th anniversary, here we were delighted to see the exciting event our sports meeting, and the excellent performance of students and teachers. The sports meeting has been a long tradition since the founding of Nanyang Public School, the former of HSXJTU, and has been bearing a dream to build strong citizens and a strong country. Generations of HSXJTU have enlivened this dream with diligent physical and mental exercises, sportsmanship and improvement of sports faculties for years.
