Word came from the 19th National Biology Olympiad (finals) of the School Students--our student Yan Jiawei won the gold medal in this competition. He was admitted by Peking University in advance and gained the qualification for the national biological winter training to prepare for the international Olympiad.

The 19th National Biology Competition (finals) was held in Wuhan with more than 120 students participating, the four students from Shaanxi included. Our student, Yan Jiawei, under the instruction of Mr. Dai Liujiu, ranked first in Shaanxi and among the top ten in the whole country with an average score of 124.3055. Particularly, he was the only one who won the gold medal in Shaanxi.

All the students and teachers hereby extended cordial greetings to Yan Jiawei. We hope that he will make persistent efforts to achieve still better results in his study. Principal Wang also appealed to every student to learn from Yan Jiawei.
