On March 31, 2009, the delegation from Belvedere Academy in Britain visited our QuJiang campus.

At 8:50am, Deputy Song Jin-an, deputy-principal of the High School Affiliated to Xi’an Jiaotong University, and some representatives welcomed the guests from Belvedere Academy. In the Audiovisual Room in Qujiang campus, Mr. Song Jin-an delivered a warmly welcoming speech to the guests and both schools presented the souvenirs to each other. In the welcoming ceremony, the guests also attended our entertainment program about Chinese traditional performances from our students. The magnificent performances had received applauses from students and teachers of both schools. In the afternoon, they visited our school campus and the laboratory. After the visit, they had classes with our students. In the DIS class, they had a profound exchange and discussion about the global warming; in the Chinese class, they showed great interests to learn more Chinese characters and general expressions in life; in the geography class, they knew the general geographical conditions of China and Shaanxi province; in the Chinese Kongfu class, they learned every movement carefully and asked for help from the teachers. All of these activities made them have a much deeper understanding about the extensive Chinese cultures.

The visit of Belvedere Academy this time is not only a cultural exchange, but more a witness and reinforcement of the friendship between the two schools. In the future, the exchange between the two school will be surly more profound, and the flower of friendship will be much more beautiful.
