In order to strengthen students’ road safety awareness, our school invited police officer Liu Yafeng of Xi’an Public Security Bureau Traffic Branch Qujiang Group to give our students an speech about ‘cherishing lives, safe travel ’. Director Gao Xiaomei of Moral Education Department presided over the meeting, giving an speech as well.

Police Officer Liu told students relevant data of traffic accidents occurred domesticly and internationally and all kinds of traffic accidents occurred in Xi’an recently. Then, he focused on how to prevent the traffic accident. Lastly, he taught our students how to do and what to do if the traffic accident happened on you.

Police Office Liu gave a vivid lecture about the road safety by using lots of data and examples, which made our students understand ‘safety based on prevention, accident based on slackness’, which helped to further improve students’ awareness of road safety and ‘cherishing lives, safe travel’.
