In the just-ended College Admission of the United States, Jia Kenan, from our school, was accepted to Yale University, University of Chicago, Cornell University, the Johns Hopkins University, Washington University in St. Louis, University of California, Berkeley, University of Virginia, University of California, Los Angeles and Georgia Institute of Technology.

Jia Kenan, Senior Grade 3 of Class 1, always takes an active role in the kinds of school activities, such as international exchanges, speech contest, art and sports activities, and scientific and technological innovations, by which she fostered a wide vision and a strong ability to be creative. In the project of Chunsun Plan in 2011, hosted by the Education Department of Shaanxi Provincial Government, which was held to cultivate innovative talents, Jia Kenan, as key player of her team, won the title of outstanding student and delivered a speech in the summary conference as the first student representative, displaying the elegance of the students from HSXJTU and winning the honor for our school.

In the application process of the universities of the United States, Jia Kenan, with her brilliant performances, gained good remark and acceptance from many universities and received offers from them. It is reported that this is the first time for Yale to enroll new students from Senior 3 in Shaanxi Province.
